A sketch of the rooms
Open livesimpcity.chat can tell you what each room is for. Simpcity itself hosts the threads, on simpcity.es. The list below is a sketch so you do not walk into the busiest doorway with the wrong kind of post.
Busy is not the same as correct. A how-to buried in general talk gets fewer useful replies than the same how-to in Guides. An account problem in Community becomes a second, messier thread in Support. Pick the neighbor that matches the subject, then open that room live.
You can read this map signed out. Starting a thread still needs an account. If you do not have one yet, the join page is the short version of signup, and the room section of the long guide says the same thing with more context.
Main boards
The core rooms. Go here when you already know the subject and you want the active threads, not a tour.
38k posts
Everyday talk
Looser recommendations and ordinary conversation. Good for a subject that is not a guide and not a support ticket.
22k posts
Guides
Longer explainers. Search here before you write a tutorial that the archive already has.
19k posts
Community
Introductions, off-topic, and talk about Simpcity itself. Say hello here once you have seen the tone.
14k posts
Support
Mail that never arrived, a sign-in that fails after you confirmed, and other access questions. Say what you already tried.

Picking a doorway
Read the one-line description, then ask a smaller question: would a stranger searching next month expect to find this subject here? If the answer is no, it belongs somewhere else. Titles do the rest of the work. “Help” is not a subject. The thing you need help with is the subject.
Sub-rooms exist so a bug report does not sit on top of a finished guide. Use them. If you still cannot tell, post the question in Community and say you are unsure of the room. Someone will point. That is faster than moderators moving the thread later, and it teaches you the map for the next time.
Every row above opens the live boards. This page will not show the threads themselves — it is the sketch, not the archive.
